Muybridge Workshop Steps
Download a large Muybridge photo sequence
- Open a new Photoshop document at 1920 x 1080 pixels
- Paste the Muybridge image into a new layer, label this layer “Reference”
- Transform-scale the image to the desired size
- Create a new blank video, label this “Animation”
- Draw on the animation layer
- Duplicate layers 2X
- Turn on Onion skinning - (one step)
- Select the reference layer and move it to the next image
- Select the Animation layer and draw the frame
- Repeat steps 6 through 9 until you have completed the animation
